The purpose of the work was to design a new masterplan for the city of Dujiangyan, taking into account the existing urban fabric as well as the Chinese tradition. The project involved teamwork in the early stages, on a macro scale, and individual work to design an area of the city and detail the architectural level. After the city block organization, four architectural typologies were designed, of mixed and residential functions. A public park, an open market and a daycare have also been created. Economic feasibility studies and stakeholder analysis were developed to complement the atelier's multidisciplinarity.
