Project location: Uberlândia, MG, Brazil
The project is a passenger terminal for the airport of Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, Brazil. It develops a specific needs program (area and number of rooms required) within a total area of 30,000 m². The predominant material is wood, as well as concrete, glass, and steel. A modular system was followed in order to promote an essentially rectangular shape to the plan, with recesses where the gardens are located. The "tree" structural module also facilitates the expansion of the terminal, according to the demand of the passenger flow.
