With the theme of floating buildings, the purpose of the workshop was to produce a "floating cultural island". The selected function was of a spoken theater that was to be located in the Giudecca Channel, next to Fondamenta Zattere. After a study of the area, with photos, videos and drawings, the project was developed, based on the context where it would be inserted, as well as technical aspects for the proper functioning of a theater. The second stage of the task consisted in combining the project with the creations of other groups, of different cultural functions (dance theater, exhibition pavilion, library, etc.), thus creating a floating cultural complex located on the Giudecca Channel between the Piazza San Marco and the church of San Giorgio Maggiore.
